★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつて二之丸庭園にあった茶席の一つです。８畳、6畳、3畳、２畳と部屋数も多く、構造も複雑だったようです。そして庭園内にあった茶席の中でも最大のものでした。時代が明治になって、二之丸御殿も取り払われてしまい、庭園にあった茶席も払い下げられてしまいました。いくつかは現在でも残っているようですが、霜傑亭は残っていないようです。残念！現在ではかつての柱位置を川原石で、平面範囲を砂利で表しています。
しかし『御城御庭絵図』に霜傑亭は明確に描かれているので、それらを参考にすれば、復元は可能なようです。予算があれば、再建してみてはいかがでしょうか？
