★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名古屋城の百科事典とも云うべき『金城温古録』の編者・奥村得義（名前は「かつよし」と読むようです）の顕彰碑です。奥村得義は御城掃除中間頭という下級武士だったのですが仕事で名古屋城の事を調べていくうちに『金城温古録』の編纂を思い立ったのでした
ただ石碑の内容で気になるのは、奥村得義が『金城温古録』を「尾張藩の命を受け」作成したと書いてあるところです。これは「藩の許可を得て」が正しいのではないかと思いますがどうでしょうか？
石碑の裏面には奥村得義の子孫の方の名前も刻まれています。『鸚鵡籠中記』の朝日文左衛門家と違って奥村家は断絶しなかったのですね。良かったと思います。
ちなみに現在『金城温古録』は名古屋市蓬左文庫でデジタル版名古屋叢書として販売されています。
 It is a memorial monument to Tokuyoshi Okumura (whose name seems to be read as "Katsuyoshi"), the editor of "Kinjo Onkoroku", which can be said to be the encyclopedia of Nagoya Castle. Tokuyoshi Okumura was a low-ranking samurai who was the middle head of cleaning the castle, but as he researched Nagoya Castle at work, he came up with the idea of compiling "Kinjo Onkoroku".
However, what is worrisome about the contents of the stone monument is that Tokuyoshi Okumura created "Kinjo Onkoroku" "at the behest of the Owari clan." I think this is correct "with the permission of the clan", but what about?
The name of the descendant of Tokuyoshi Okumura is also engraved on the back of the stone monument. Unlike the Asahi Bunzaemon family in "Omu Ryokan Chuki," the Okumura family did not break. I think it was good.
By the way, "Kinjo Onkoroku" is currently sold as a digital version of the Nagoya Monographs at the Hoza Bunko in Nagoya City.
