★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice views in the evening of Kyoto City below. View is limited by trees on the left and right. There is a clear view of Kyoto Station and Kyoto Tower. The drive up can be a little dangerous since there are tourist buses going up, so be careful around the bends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t like commenting on anything but restaurants but this a rundown viewing spot BUT it is an easy walk using the trail ( Kyoto trail ) but you can pick it up from kiyomizu dera and then hop off at higashiyama dori - its about a 45min trail (section) …. Use old shoes but really no need for hiking stuff
This view spot however is mostly famous for it being a route that was well known for drifting as the road up has ( had ) good curves for drifters
