★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum has beautiful examples of netsuke and makei craftsmanship from the 19th century and earlier. Its worth renting the magnifying scope at the entry to see the details on the miniatures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museum of ceramic and carving crafts from the Edo and Meiji era. Quality of craft was superb, do yourself a favor and rent the magnifying scope for 200¥ to catch all the details. With there was more English translation of the signage, but the details speak for themselves. More context about the use of objects, and the society they came from, would help the narrative.
