★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慶応３年（１８６７年）１１月１５日に暗殺された坂本龍馬と中岡慎太郎は、１８日に近江屋で葬儀が行われ、霊山墓地に埋葬されたとのことです。龍馬の命日の１１月１５日には、墓前で慰霊祭が催されているそうです。

霊山護国神社にある霊山墓地の墓石。明治維新に尽力した１３５６名の志士が眠っている｡祀られている人物で最も有名なのが坂本龍馬。そのほとんどは無名の志士で､また招魂碑で遺骨は埋葬されていない｡

✨激動1867年✨その1867年明け時点では隆盛39､孝允34､龍馬31､慎太郎29､晋作27､幾松24歳｡
私が竜馬ファンになった十代から小五郎には良い印象がない｡自身が年令を重ねて来て木戸孝允公の株は揚がった｡墓前では素直に手をあわせる。
近江屋事件で伴に暗殺されてしまう土佐藩の盟友・中岡慎太郎も並んで一緒に墓石が建ってる。神社では大半が招魂碑の中で､龍馬と慎太郎の二人の遺骨は実際埋葬された｡
高台になる墓石の前には二人のブロンズ像がある｡その視線先に京都の街が見える｡像は円山公園内ある物と同じ構図でも、この墓石前の像はかなり小さい｡
参拝時には､墓碑に「土佐鶴」一升瓶が供えられていた｡暫しの間二人の視線先を見ながらコロナの今年を思い返した｡
■ Ryoma Sakamoto and Shintaro Nakaoka's Tomb
A tombstone at the Ryozen Cemetery at the Ryozen Gokoku Shrine. There are 1356 priests who contributed to the Meiji Restoration sleeping. Ryoma Sakamoto is the most famous person to be enshrined. Most of them are unnamed priests, and the remains are not buried in the soul monument.

✨ Turbulent 1867 ✨ At the beginning of 1867, Takamori 39, Takamitsu 34, Ryoma 31, Shintaro 29, Shinsaku 27, Ikumatsu 24 years old.
I haven't had a good impression of Kogoro since I became a fan of Ryoma. I've grown older and the stock of Takayoshi Kido has risen.
Shintaro Nakaoka, an ally of the Tosa domain who was assassinated in the Omiya incident, is also standing side by side with a tombstone. At the shrine, most of the remains of Ryoma and Shintaro were actually buried in the memorial monument.
There are two bronze statues in front of the gravestone on the hill. You can see the city of Kyoto in the line of sight. Even if the statue has the same composition as the one in Maruyama Park, the statue in front of this gravestone is quite small.
At the time of worship, a bottle of "Tosatsuru" was offered to the tombstone. For a while, I remembered Corona's year while looking at the two people's eyes.

お二人のお墓が一番良い場所にあります。
京都市街が一望できる。
同時に襲撃された、元力士で下僕の藤吉も一緒に眠っています。
入場料大人300円かかりますが、歴史ファンならぜひ訪れてみて下さい。
あと、余談ですが、漫画「おーい竜馬」は名作ですね。 昔はそれほど関心ありませんでしたが(前半はコミカル過ぎて読んでて辛い)、今読んでみると面白い。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 維新の志士から、日清、日露、大東亜の各戦争で主に京都にご縁がある方々がお祀りされています。約30年ぶり二回目のお詣りですが、一番奥の木戸孝允さんのお墓までは、急な階段でしたがゆっくり登り、なんとかお詣り出来ました。
入り口と、中腹にお祀りされておられる方々の御名前と墓碑の場所が記されていますので、お越しの際はぜひご覧下さい。竜馬さんや中岡さんだけでなく、吉村寅太郎さん、高杉さん、来島又兵衛さん、久坂玄瑞さん、横井小楠さん、大村益次郎さんの墓碑もあります。もっと御名前がわかればいいのにと恥ずかしいです。
ここに祀られる方々のお陰で今の日本があります事に心から感謝申し上げます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東山の斜面に維新の志士をはじめたくさんの墓が祭られています。なかでも坂本龍馬・中岡慎太郎の墓はもっとも有名です。
彼らの墓所には二人の彫像や説明板があり、振り返れば京都の街が美しく望まれます。
訪れた日、京都はちょうど桜が満開でした。維新から150年余りを経た今でも、かれらはここから京の街を見守っているのでしょうか。
