S	Sonja Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unagi don with light jazz in the background... Check! Great place for lunch or early dinner inside nishiki market, go up to the second floor. Excellent unagi. Around 2300 yen for half bowl set, which is filling enough for one person. Try the fried unagi bones too!

We missed the entrance as the it was not very obvious. Great unagi with rice set and they have English menu as well. Reasonable pricing. Half unagi with rice (1500yen) / Unagi with rice (2300Yen) / Full unagi without rice (2000 Yen) Highly recommended!

The sauce is nice and sweet with a good amount of savouriness and the flavours were great! I really enjoyed this eel bowl and if you are in the area, give it a try!
M	Mike Soong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the Eel here. we had it a couple of times at a sushi places and I still say the BBQ style here is the best we had during our trip. As with all eel in this area it is pricey but it's worth to try for the flavour. I also love the crispyness on the one side and the softness on the other. We didnt have to wait in line but it is a small place that can get super busy so going during off hours helps a lot. Fyi the entrance is a small staircase so it can be easy to miss at first.

Order the whole eel (double size meat ) if you like eel!! I order the normal size and regret for the rest of my trip. Try to order the set meal if possible. Best food in the market.
