★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too expensive. Specialise in Japanese broths which are rich and packed with flavour. Someone was smoking in the restaurant which ruined things a little. But that is a problem Japan has all over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three of us ate there and we were full when we left. The food was great. We had a variety of dishes including shabu shabu, tempura, lots of vegetables, and beef sushi roll. We paid about 5000 yen each and we were very happy. The young staff is watched over by the customer service focused owner / chef, so the service was great. In a sea of restaurants to choose from this was a great find. Surprisingly empty but it was a Monday night. We scored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the sukiyaki and it costed $3,000 yen. It was 90% onions and had only 6 pieces of beef. Then there was a hidden service charge of $500 yen per person. Place is overrated and a tourist trap. It overall ruined the food crawl but I understand the establishment is just taking advantage of its location. This is a prime tourist trap destination and I would just skip this restaurant

The prices are way to high an the service charge off 500 yen for no water and so on is a really bad joke. (680 for a beer is to much)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They speak very little English but always try their best to explain to you and even try to show you the actual dish. Overall delicious food with good service. In Pontocho, most restaurant has cover charge and this restaurant charge 500yen/person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a green onion hotpot, filled of green onion, meats are so tender. Restaurant owner and waiters, waitress are so nice, we can communicate with conversational English, also menu in Chinese. They are quite friendly and very passion to introduce themselves to tourists! The entire building made by wood, like a small an cozy wood bar with people's laugh! It was great!
