★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さなお店です。奥に座席4人分ぐらい、カウンターに6人分ぐらいです。串揚げおまかせ5串でお願いしました。あまりはいることがないので、メニューのことは知りませんが、野菜の肉巻きなど、工夫された串で驚きました。油こくなく胃に優しかった。
これならもう少し頂けましたが、次々とお客様が顔だすので、早々に切り上げました。小腹を満足させるのにはすごく良いですね。
It's a small shop. There are about 4 seats in the back and about 6 people at the counter. I asked for 5 skewers. I don't know much about the menu because I don't have much, but I was surprised by the devised skewers such as vegetable meat rolls. It was not greasy and was kind to the stomach.
I got a little more if this was the case, but as customers came out one after another, I rounded it up early. It's great for satisfying your stomach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 夜ご飯は先斗町の歌舞練場前にある「串市」さん。
カウンター10席と小さなテーブル2つのこじんまりとしたお店。
揚げ物なのにとても軽くて何本でも食べられる。
揚げ物以外のメニューが少ないのがナンですが、串揚げのお店なので仕方ない。
南座の俳優さんや舞妓さんも常連さんとして名を連ねているようです。
どれもとても美味しいけれど、酔っていても記憶に残っているものが、ハムポテト、紅生姜と白身魚のすり身、子持ち昆布、ゴボウです。
特に子持ち昆布はめちゃくちゃ美味しくて、2回頼んでしまいました。
満腹になるまで食べて、ビール5杯と他のお酒3杯飲んで1人5000円くらい。
京都に行ったらまた行きたいです。

The dinner is "Kushiichi" in front of the Kaburenjo in Pontocho.
A small shop with 10 seats at the counter and 2 small tables.
Although it is fried food, it is very light and you can eat as many as you like.
Nan has few menus other than fried food, but it can't be helped because it's a skewered restaurant.
It seems that the actors and maiko of Minamiza are also regulars.
All of them are very delicious, but the ones that are memorable even if you are drunk are ham potato, pickled ginger and white fish surimi, kelp with kelp, and burdock.
Especially the kelp with children was so delicious that I ordered it twice.
Eat until you're full, drink 5 beers and 3 other drinks, and it's about 5,000 yen per person.
I want to go again when I go to Kyoto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family of five squeezed in, managed through our poor Japanese/English/sign to ask the owner-chef to serve us his recommendations and then immersed ourselves in foodie heaven. Watching him skilfully prepare large prawn tempura, asparagus wrapped in pork and then near raw chicken filet was amazing.... from such a tiny space. And then tasting it...wow. We will try to return. Fabulous.
