★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every single time we visit Ueda a lunch here is a must. The soba noodles are as good as they get in or out of Japan, perfect, absolutely delicious.
If you are not used to eating soba noodles I recommend you get a small portion. They don't kid around with portions here, I always need help finishing my soba+tempura, but I won't give up... One day I will conquer it! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the recommended walnut sauce くるみsoba. It definitely tastes good and it’s unique to the restaurant but I found it really rich! It comes with the usual soy sauce broth as well so it sort of balances everything out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste is quite good, but the texture is inconsistent. Some soba are cut so thin, and some so thick. The result being the thick noodles are hard, and thin noodles are sloppy. It's a bit of a shame, because the solution is so simple (cut the same way)
