★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 水無瀬の滝に立ち寄った帰りにこちらの立て看板に気づきました。
断層の露頭部を見学できるわけではありませんが、身近に断層があることを実感しました。
それにしても、名神高速道路の天王山トンネル(4本のうちの1本)はこの断層を貫いているんですね。
この断層が動くような大きな地震があったら天王山トンネルはいったいどうなるんだろう？？？
ちなみに、この場所はちょっと高台にあるので振り返ると男山から枚方にかけての展望が素晴らしいです。
またもう少し上にあがると名神高速道路の上下8車線が上から見下ろせます。
 On the way back from the Minase Falls, I noticed this signboard.
Although it is not possible to observe the outcrops of the fault, I realized that there is a fault nearby.
Even so, the Tennozan Tunnel (one of the four) on the Meishin Expressway runs through this fault.
What would happen to the Tennozan Tunnel if there was a big earthquake that would move this fault? ?? ??
By the way, this place is on a hill, so looking back, the view from Otokoyama to Hirakata is wonderful.
If you go up a little further, you can see the eight lanes above and below the Meishin Expressway from above.
