展示は２階ですが、エレベーターもあるので高齢者や障碍者にも安心です。
立教だけでなく、他の大学の変遷や、池袋の変化の様子が分かり、卒業生や関係者でなくても興味深く見学出来ると思います。

大正8年築の旧図書館の趣を残した展示スペースには、立教大学をはじめ立教学院各校の約150年の歩みを貴重資料の展示、タッチパネルディスプレーや映像、写真などを通して、分かりやすく知ることがでます。また、子ども向けのパネルや史料展示、タブレット端末もあります。
築100年近い歴史的建造物は池袋キャンパスのシンボルゾーンを形成するレンガ建造物群の一つで、東京都の歴史的建造物に選定されています。
通常は平日18時まで開いていますが、大学の長期休日の時は平日17時まで開館となっております。
The Rikkyo Gakuin Exhibition Hall, which opened in 2014, is on the 2nd floor of the quaint "Maser Library Memorial Hall (former Library Main Building)" on the left side of the Rikkyo University main gate.
In the exhibition space, which retains the atmosphere of an old library built in 1918, you can easily understand the history of about 150 years of each school of Rikkyo University including Rikkyo University by displaying valuable materials, touch panel displays, images, photos, etc. I get it. There are also panels for children, exhibits of historical materials, and tablet terminals.
The historical building, which has been built for nearly 100 years, is one of the brick buildings that form the symbol zone of the Ikebukuro campus and has been selected as a historical building in Tokyo.
Normally, it is open until 18:00 on weekdays, but on long-term university holidays, it is open until 17:00 on weekdays.
