★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 池袋四面塔尊は、将軍吉宗の時代に建てられた、辻斬りの供養塔。元は現在の西武百貨店とパルコの間あたりにあったが、武蔵野鉄道（現在の西武池袋線）池袋駅が建てられる際に現在の池袋駅前公園内に移設された。隣には池袋四面塔稲荷大明神が寄り添っている。
