★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partner and I chose the small animal room. Saw lots of unique animals up close. I held a hedgehog, chinchilla (it bit me a couple of times but skin wasn't broken) and a flying squirrel. Wasn't so much a "cafe" as no food or drinks are served. I read somewhere that bottled drinks are provided as part of the entry fee, but we didn't receive that. You do however get a 100yen discount if you post a photo on instagram or Facebook (you literally have to post in front of staff). Did feel a bit sad for the fennec fox which was pacing around quickly in its small enclosure. Overall, not a bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really wide range of small animals. The staff are friendly and seem to care about them properly. Naturally the cages are far too small, but in terms of a general animal cafe, this one is much better for the animals than some. Quite pricey, but you get a good amount of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am shocked. The animals are cute but: Their cages are small and and some of them have barely to no room to move. They are lieing on hard PVC Grounds with holes on them probably to make cleaning easier and some of the small Animals are just sitting on the wires of the cage.
I really love animals but this are not proper conditions for these animals. If you want to help them then please avoid this place.

Definitely this place keeps the animals in very small cages, which breaks my heart.
The staffs were attentive and seemed to care about them though. (Thus 2 stars on this review)
I asked if they keep the animals the whole time in the cages. I was told they take them off the cages everyday to exercise for a few minutes. But only that.
If you don’t care too much about their welfare, you can have fun while petting the cute animals.
1100 JPY for 30 minutes, that you will either spend with the mammals or with the owls and reptiles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is terrible!! DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!!! I've been to a few pet cafes, and this was the worst! The animals were all in cramped cages. The poor fox could barely turn around. Some cages in the back of the incredibly small room were stacked on top of each other, hidden in the cold, dark corner. I wanted to cry. These animals are not loved, only there for profit. This place charges you by the half-hour. And charges you for food to give to the animals, and it's only a very small amount of food. There are some safety rules there, but they should have them posted before you pay to get in. I would not have wasted my money if I had known I could only feed certain animals, and most animals have to stay in their cages at all times. Also, they only let out one animal at a time. So if you paid to be there for 30 minutes, you might not ever get to interact with an animal if another person already requested one for themselves. I've been to better cafes, where the animals have a lot more room to move around, and you can tell they are loved by their trainers....who are actually knowledgeable about the animal's needs. And want the guests AND the animals to be happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near Ikebukuro station. Friendly and helpful staff. There are Fennec fox, hedgehog, owls, snakes and others. However, it is too restrictive as you can only look at the animals in their small cages and can only touch and feed some animals. Very small place no much space and not allow to play with the animals. Too pricey. Not worth the price.
