It was on a great mountain, but it was a very nice temple. Various bamboo objects and totem poles were very unique. The person at the temple kindly explained various things. The red stamp was also very good.

One of the few temples that enshrines Gozu Tenno. In the past, he was a god who protected people from illness as a suijaku of Yakushi Nyorai. There are places all over the country that have gathered considerable faith and were once enshrined. This year is the opening year of the book once every twelve years. You can see the principal image. Since it is until mid-December, the opening period is short. Gozu Tenno and Hachioji are enshrined in the main hall. Since the book is open, you can see the principal image. saw it for the first time. I remember the stone pagoda of Hayagriva before it became only letters. Most of the old stone towers of Hayagriva have a horse on their head. In addition, there are Kannon-do, Tsutendo, Inari-sha, Bell Tower, Hombo and a restaurant. The ginkgo between Koyamaki and the building is big. The problem here is the toilet. The toilet in the restaurant is still good, but the toilet I used is a little ... I don't know how to live or how long it will take because I walked from my child's Gongen. If it is a bus, it will be displayed in 50 minutes on foot from the Kodono bus stop (mountain map). I wonder if many people use this bus stop on their way home. There is a parking lot.

Be careful when driving on mountain roads. There's a parking lot. There is a toilet, but let's have a tissue. There is a red stamp. There is a bright priest! There was Mr. Inari, the medical king. It seems better to contact us in advance for meals.

Musashino 33 Kannon Sacred Ground No. 33. In the mountains ... A temple of Shinto and Buddhism in the unexplored region (laughs). 1 hour walk from the nearest bus stop. The parking lot is large, but the road is quite narrow. Be careful of large vehicles, those who are unfamiliar with driving, in the rain, and at night! A dedicated one-way signal is installed just before the precincts. There is a wonderful bamboo grove in the precincts, and there are many things to see, such as bamboo-crafted (?) Objects and bowls. There are also vegetarian dishes (reservation required) and teahouses (shaved ice with bamboo tubes). Since nature is utilized, there are many slopes and steps. The atmosphere of the main hall, which seems to be integrated with nature, is overwhelming. Insect repellent is essential in spring and summer! There is also a public toilet, but ... it's old-fashioned (laughs). A wonderful red stamp, Itadakimashita!

The grounds and surrounding pond are awfully beautiful. There's a peace bell here which was apparently constructed out of an unexploded world war 2 era bomb casing. I've never seen a temple as interesting as this one in Japan.

This is the place to go of you want peace and quiet. You could walk through a bamboo pathway, take a hike until Nenogonggen, or just take a seat and enjoy your bento lunch. If you want to experience Shojin Ryori, you could have it here as long as you reserve at least a day before. Just remember that the restaurant is closed during Summer and Winter months.

I have lived live in Hanno for 19 years although I never realised about this place until last year. Absolutely beautiful! Also I am into photography so this is a beautiful spot for this. I haven't tried the food there yet but it's really nice food. Some people may have difficulty getting up there but it's safe with lights for one way driving. DEFINITELY go there again.

This temple is one of the most unique I have visited here in Japan. It has a strange feel to it compared to many other temples I've visited. It almost feels wild, but peaceful. Definitely worth checking out.
