★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Higanbana (or sometimes called Manjushage. Lycoris radiata, red spider lily, red magic lily in English) is one of most iconic autumn flowers in Japan, and it usually starts blooming from mid September.
Japan’s biggest Higanbana field is located at Kinchakuda (巾着田) in Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture. In the peak season, the whole site is covered with over 500 millions of beautiful burning hot Higanbana flowers, creating a most spectacular view in autumn.
Kinchakuda is located about 15 mins walk from Koma Station, which can be accessed within 1 hour from Ikebukuro Station, Tokyo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and nice garden. It has a lively river with a beautifully arrayed sakura. This place served as a camping spot also, whenever you feel like to be with nature you can try camping here sometimes. It's noy far from main road and the city too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place! Must visit. There are no convenience stores adjacent to the railway station, but near the field there is one. Just less than a km from the station.
Worth spending some time at the Riverside. Children will love playing in the shallow water. We have visited during autumn time; this is a wonderful place to see autumn leaves. Lots of flowers to see as well.
Don't miss a chance to hike Hiwada mountain. The trail starts from a point across the road in front of 7-11. It's a simple hike. Takes a Max of 2 hours. I hiked with my 2.5 years old son and wife. It was fun. Have a great time! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surround by nature, clean, well spot for family picnic. There are things to do for the kids. It was quite beautiful and relaxing to spend the time here.
There are restrooms to wash after playing with dirts or in the water

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view is simply mind blowing.
As you see the map, this is a kind of flower field with the sakura trees lined up at the side and at the center serves as the park and at the outer part of the map you could see parking and followed by river where you could get in and play, no entry fee for this place but parking is not free.
This is best suited for picnic mostly.
Many people don’t know about this place, even Japanese are wondering where it is so kindly share and let everyone know about this
