If you walk along the prefectural road toward Chichibu from the intersection, you will see a small signboard, which is the entrance to the mountain road to the Limestone Cave. It used to take 10 hours for a round trip on a real mountain road in Yakushima. This is a natural limestone cave that is open at your own risk, although it says that you should not go to dangerous places, unlike the tourist cave that is maintained, and the rock wall is often used by rock climbers. There were countless holes in it! First, go to the first cave on the right side. Is there a water source here? Water slowly flows from the back. When I lit the light and went about 10m deep, I encountered a fairly wide space, there seemed to be depth, but I did not have time, and I was worried about other things, so I made it so far and this time I climbed further on the left side To the second and third cave. The second cave seemed to be difficult to enter, so the stalactites in the back were popular in the preliminary search, and if it went well, I might encounter bats, so I went to the third cave. When I went near the entrance, there were no signs of people until now, but apparently there were about 10 people on the jackets and sheets with luggage, and there were customers. It's not good to bother you later, so I decided to go down the mountain today. But I was able to fully enjoy the cave exploration just near the entrance!
