★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近隣の文化財を見学に、群馬の田舎からなので、車で行きました。探しましたが近くにも駐車場が見つからず、残念ながら観られませんでした。

柵で当時の住居跡を囲っていてそこから当時の面影が残る柱跡や住居後スペースを確認できるのが嬉しい?
意外と小さな円形状の範囲内なので余り期待しないで?♂️
一応埼玉県内では初めて縄文時代の竪穴式住居跡が発掘された場所なので国の指定重要文化財には指定されています✨✨✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高麗駅の北西およそ400メートルのところ、国道299号線沿い南側のなだらかな丘の中腹にある遺跡である。国の史跡に指定されている。
この遺跡は縄文時代中期の縦穴式複合住居跡と見られており、地下およそ60センチの所に、直径6メートルと6.6メートルの円形住居跡が、2つ瓢箪型に連なって残されており、溝跡や礎石も残されている。
Approximately 400 meters northwest of Koma Station, it is an archaeological site on a gentle hillside on the south side of Route 299. It is designated as a national historic site.
This site is considered to be a vertical hole type complex dwelling site in the middle of the Jomon period, and two circular dwelling sites with diameters of 6 meters and 6.6 meters are left in a gourd shape at a place about 60 cm underground. There are also traces of ditches and cornerstones.

今日は聖火リレーを見に行く時に高麗駅で降りて行きました。
高麗村石器時代住居跡はR 299沿いの西武秩父線の高麗駅の近くにあるけど車で通ると案内の看板を見過ごす。
高麗駅から降りてR 299を左に、秩父方向に100m前後行くと看板が見えた。
299号からの入り口はエッと言うような畦道を登るとすぐにあったけど。
説明も立派にあった。
場所の案内図を駅や所々にわかるように置いて欲しい。
中には入れないようになっていた。
石器時代住居跡が綺麗に発掘され整備されていた。
立派なものです。
もう少し宣伝して欲しい。

Today I got off at Koma station when I went to see the torch relay.
The ruins of the Koma Village Stone Age Residence are near Koma Station on the Seibu-Chichibu Line along R 299, but if you drive through it, you will overlook the signboard.
When you get off from Koma Station and turn left on R 299 and go about 100m in the direction of Chichibu, you will see a signboard.
The entrance from No. 299 was as soon as I climbed the ridge like Eh.

The remains of the stone tool era dwelling were beautifully excavated and maintained.
