★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant/ice cream stand/gift shop all in one, just beside the walking trail up to the shrine. Had the cold noodles with all different toppings to try. The soba tea they serve you for free is delicious. There’s both tatami seating and chairs if you prefer too. By the way, the soba ice cream just tastes like vanilla...

The restaurant is also spacious and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice taste and reasonable price for Mix ebi tempura set with soba noodle. You must try. There is an English menu for non japanese customer. Waitress are nice and very good service mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A soba lover's paradise. I was told that there is usually a line before the shop opens, so get here early if you want to be one of the first to be seated. I had the sobazanmai (そば三昧) which if I recall correctly came with three dips: a tsuyu sauce, a creamy grated mountain potato sauce with dashi, and a walnut-based sweet sauce. I don't know if the walnut sauce was seasonal or not though. The tempura was also very delicious.
