菅	菅俊明 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 菊坂の路地の奥に木造3階建に見える建物があり、その場所の一階部分にかつて樋口一葉が住んでいたそうだ。今ある建物は一葉が住んでいた家ではないが、レトロな趣がある。その路地にある井戸は実際に一葉も使っていたそうだ。看板も何もなく、かえってそのほうが良いと思うが、付近の街並みの風情が何とか保存されることが望まれる。近くに、一葉が通っていた質屋の建物が残っている。 There is a building that looks like a three-story wooden building in the back of the alley of Kikuzaka, and it seems that Higuchi Ichiyo once lived on the first floor of that place. 桑	桑島実 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここしばらくいい年をして樋口一葉の「おっかけ」をやってます。自宅が一葉記念館のある台東区竜泉に近く、そこを皮切りに「たけくらべ」の舞台となった飛不動尊、太郎稲荷神社、入谷三島神社、鷲神社、千束稲荷神社、吉原神社、吉原大門、見返り柳など巡っています。なお一葉は文京区周辺での暮らしが長く心は本郷周辺にありました。東大赤門前や本郷四丁目の旧宅跡、終焉の地跡、菊坂の旧質屋伊勢屋、清水橋、旅館鳳明館、いずれも所縁の地が密集しています。本郷菊坂旧居は現在、文京区本郷4－32という地番に変わっています。案内板もなくスマホのナビを使ってもなかなか探し当て難いのですが石畳に古井戸、古びた木造の建物が密集し一葉の往時の生活が偲ばれます。ここは民家ですので少人数で静かに訪ねましょう。菊坂下の交差点近く甘味処、「ゑちご屋」で一服、稲荷と桜餅、草餅をいただきます。 I've been doing a good year for a while now and I'm doing "Okake" by Ichiyo Higuchi.
