ち	ちろわんこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東京大学の本郷キャンパスの南東端付近から本郷台地を北西方向に下っていく長い坂です。菊坂界隈にはかつて多くの文人たちが住んでいました。その文人たちの旧居跡巡りをすると通る場所です。菊坂と並行するように「下坂」と呼ばれる坂もあり、ここにはかつて川が流れていたそうです。菊坂を歩いていると確かに川があっても不思議ではない場所だなと思いました。訪問時は、残念ながら菊坂の説明板を見つけられませんでした。知人に聞くと宮沢賢治旧居跡の説明板がある階段を上り、菊坂を坂上方向に上ること10mほどの場所にあるとのことでした。 A long slope going northwest from the Hongo plateau near the southeastern end of the Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo. Kikuzaka area used to be home to many writers. It is a place where you pass when you visit the former residence of those writers. There is also a hill called "Shimozaka" in parallel with Kikuzaka, and it seems that a river used to flow here. While walking on Kikuzaka, I realized that it was not surprising that there was a river. Unfortunately, when I visited, I couldn't find an explanation board for Kikuzaka. When I asked an acquaintance, he said that he was climbing the stairs with an explanatory board of the site of Kenji Miyazawa's former residence and climbing up Kikuzaka in the direction of Sakagami, about 10m away.
