S	Shinya U on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is recommended to set "ita-soba" and tempura. From mid-April to mid-May you can eat soba special "kanzarashi-soba". If you can visit in the spring season, let's eat it. It is really delicious.

Q	Quack on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High-end soba restaurant (on the pricey side). Visited one snowy day, because the rating was good. The staffs were super polite and welcoming, unfortunately I don’t know much about soba...so... It was absolutely edible though! I just didn’t get what was the difference between what they served and what I had back in Tokyo. Apparently, Yamagata is famous for soba, so I guess visit just for the experience.

S	Sue R. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had Kamo Seiro Soba (Cold Buckwheat Soba Noodles with Duck Soup for Dipping) and Nishin (Simmered Herring in Soy Sauce). They were delicious. The soba was firm to the bite with nice taste and fragrance. The service staffs were polite, welcoming, and attentive. Some of them speak English. They also have English menu though there're fewer choices to choose from compared to the Japanese menu.

It doesn't have any particular personality, but I think it has a sophisticated and timeless taste that is unique to a long-established store. BGM's JAZZ didn't interfere with the taste either. But I just wondered about the big display.
