★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are lots or restaurants in Porta Dinning We eat udon (udon with different toppings and udon with beef) and it was so delicious and great. You have variety hot/cold, and nice price. Thank you so much to have this experience in Kyoto??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly took a chance with this one just by looking at pictures and reviews. Food was very reasonably priced and good portions as well. I 100% recommend the set meals or the combo meals as those will give you the best value out of your money. Will definitely be eating here whenever I'm in Kyoto Station. The picture is the curry udon with pork katsudon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The udon noodles are handmade, you can tell by the way they trail off, and are superbly springy and fresh. Pork katsu was tasty too. We thought we over-ordered but the dishes were so well executed we devoured everything including the stock! Curry udon came with some pork belly slices even if you don't add on katsu or tempura. Service staff were brisk but polite. Prices were low considering the quality. One won't find this standard of udon outside of Japan.
