Too bad it’s dark already so can’t see much of what could be a great river view. Also not much English but the set menu is translated. Can be pricy though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by hotel, we splurged on a wonderful kaiseki dinner. Charming, attentive service in English. We enjoyed all the dishes, although a few selections were challenging for a Western palate. The presentations and overall meal were very special and memorable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ridiculously good kaiseki from a very old restaurant. good service. they make these dehydrated soy sauce powder which we were gifted with. it’s very delicious. booked a day before via Tabelog(in japanese).
