★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here to check out the Shimogamo Shrine and got curious about this place. It was later on that I discovered that this place is for women who wants to be beautiful. Well, I just said to myself that it was for my wife and daughter. Overall, a lot of women visits this shrine and lo and behold the priestesses here are beautiful themselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful shrine that's tucked away in a little wooded area just south of Shimogamo shrine. This shrine is pretty interesting because it's dedicated completely to women. Very much worth a look and prayer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you wish to get your beautiful face, Kawai shrine is the one you should try. This is known as a mirror shape of votive picture. It's said that you can get your ideal face with make up the face of this wooden mirror. It costs 800 yen to make your wish come true. :)))
