★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 千代川を渡り吉岡街道を布勢に向かい西進、東里仁の入口に(東里仁公民館)が見えてきます。付近は古木に覆われた一画で道標(みちしるべ)です。
「畠﨑神社」は古来から吉岡街道の道標で多くの参拝人を迎えました。
また、布勢の山王さんまではもう少しの距離に位置しますから、ここで一休みの参拝人もいた事でしょう。
鳥居に架かる神社名の額縁は長い歳月を物語ります。
境内には鳥居を始めとして社殿等がバランスよく配置されています。
氏子中による(神苑拡張記念碑)も境内の主要な位置にあります。
「畠﨑神社」は多くの人を迎えてきた神社です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 産土神 牛頭天王 東里仁の前は畠崎村と称していた頃の名前を残す。平地にあるので本殿はかなりかさ上げしてある。
