★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 安長集落の細い路地を入り、昔からの面影が濃厚に残る本家本元の安長に「安長神社」は奉納されています。近くの土手沿いにも鬱蒼と古木が林立しこちらは中世期の遺跡(安長土手)ですが、同じように安長神社の境内には天を覆うほどの欅の木や杉が鬱蒼と遠くから見通せています。
安長神社は期待に違わず典型的な神社建築様式を踏まえた端正な美しさを放出しています。
鳥居の右横に巨大な御神燈がまず目に飛び込みます。狛犬も拝殿、本殿等の神社境内をしっかり御守りです。正面に向かい本殿と拝殿の左側広い境内には子供さんの遊具が備え付けられています。まるで子供たちの楽しい声が聞こえてくるようで嬉しい気持ちになりました。
「安長神社」は大人から子供たちの大切な心のふるさと、誰もが成長していつまでも郷愁を感じるのです。
