春の5月15日の例祭は因幡、伯耆、但馬から人々が集まります。??
始まりは室町時代(15世紀)の因幡の守護職山名氏(天神山城主)が比叡山山麓の日吉大社の分霊を勧請し奉納したとのことです。
天正8年豊臣秀吉により焼失しましたが元和3年、亀井氏に代わって池田藩主代々に参拝尊崇されました。
そして今日まで多くの子供たち、大人たちに親しまれています。???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 石階段より社殿を見上げると、両脇に巨木がそびえたち、いい雰囲気がしました。社殿のまわりには、こけむした地に小さなお宮があったり、いかにも古そうな樹木の手前にお宮があったりして、これまたいい感じでした。
社殿の裏手は宅地開発が進んでいるせいか、鎮守の森といえるような、こんもりしたボリュームの森が見当たらず、残念でした。２０１９年３月訪問。
