Hamamatsu City Naka-ku Himekaido along Souka Shrine and towering Sansha Shrine, Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu Gakuin Junior College, and prestigious Hamamatsu Kita High School, there are young people who will be responsible for future Hamamatsu such as Sanaru Preparatory School and Toshin Preparatory School. It is the closest shrine to my apartment. Thank you very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 子供の頃から、ある神社ですが、昔からの樹木や石の囲いは取り払われ、随分と変わりましたが、お社は70年来そのままですよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 普段は閑散とした神社ですが由緒正しい神社です。後醍醐天皇の子息である宗良親王と縁があり、その昔は坂上田村麻呂将軍とも縁のある神社です。
夏の払いと年末の大祓の茅の輪くぐりができます。近所に【さいが崖資料館】もありますのでお寄りの際は足を伸ばしてみてはいかがでしょうか。
浜松北高も近いためか学業開運のボールペンも扱っておられるようです。

You can pay for the summer and go through the Kaya ring of the Oharae at the end of the year. There is also the Saigagake Museum in the neighborhood, so why not stretch your legs when you visit?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静岡県神社五等級、旧郷社という、高い社格と由緒を有する神社で、天照大御神はじめ三柱の祭神を祀ります。
平安時代初期の延暦年間、坂上田村麻呂が東夷東征の際、岩田海の難を除くため天照大御神・誉田別命・天児屋根命の分霊を勧請して祈願したことを起源とする、大変長い社歴を有する神社です。天照大御神を祀るため、鳥居は貫(ぬき：下の横木）が短い神明鳥居です。
南北朝時代、井伊谷宮に祀られている南朝の宗良（むねなが）親王も参拝されました。元は100mほど北にありましたが、三方ヶ原の合戦の戦火で焼失した後、江戸時代初期に現在の地に移転して以来、歴代浜松藩主の祈願所として庇護されてきました。

Originally located about 100m north, it has been protected as a prayer place for successive Hamamatsu feudal lords since it was burnt down in the battle of Mikatagahara and moved to its present location in the early Edo period.
