★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静岡県神社十等級、旧村社という格式の神社で、両親である伊耶那岐命と伊耶那美命、およびその子である天照大神等四神の計六柱を祀ります。
平安時代、征夷大将軍の坂上田村麻呂が東征した折り、嵐のためこの地で逗留した際に天照大神が夢枕に立ちました。そのお陰で征夷に成功したと信じた田村麻呂が帰路、その感謝の気持ちを込めて創建したと伝わる神社です。
It is a shrine of the 10th grade of Shizuoka Prefecture Shrine, an old village shrine, and enshrines a total of 6 pillars of 4 gods such as parents Iya Nagimei and Iya Namimei, and their children Tensho Ogami.
During the Heian period, when Maro Sakaue Tamura, the general of the conquest, conquered the east, Tensho Ogami stood on the dream pillow when he stayed here due to a storm. It is said that Maro Tamura, who believed that he had succeeded in conquering thanks to that, built it with gratitude on his way home.
