は	はるのゆいたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三方ヶ原の戦いで敗戦し逃げる徳川家康軍の殿を引き受けて、壮絶な討ち死にをした本多肥後守忠真を顕彰する碑が犀ヶ崖古戦場跡にあります。ちなみに徳川四天王の本多忠勝の叔父にあたる人物です。三方ヶ原の戦いは徳川家康が馬上で震えながら命からがら逃げ帰ったと言う程のひどい敗戦だったようなので、殿で本多忠真の奮戦がなければ討ち取られていた可能性もあった訳です。そうなればその後の江戸時代もなかったと考えると忠真の奮戦は報われたと言う事になります。代償として戦の惨さを目の当たりにした忠真の嫡子は出家をしたとの事ですが……?
