★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 叡山電車修学院下車 徒歩約10分市バス修学院道下車 徒歩約10分。
修学院・山端地区の鎮守社として親しまれている古社。鳥居から本殿につづく長い参道の両脇はカエデの並木になっており、空を覆うような紅葉が訪れる人を出迎えてくれます。晩秋の散りモミジの頃も見事。境内には縁結びの御利益があるという「八重垣」の石があり、人気スポットのひとつとなっています。
参道は紅葉の美しさでも知られている、知る人ぞ知る、
ガイドブックに載らない穴場の紅葉名所という事で楽しみに参拝しましたが、紅葉の時期がまだだったのか、わずかしか紅葉はありませんでした。
参拝が11月26日だったので、早かったようです。12月3日にアップされた写真を見ると確かに紅葉が見事です。（添付しています）（例年だと11月下旬には散り始めるようです）
 About 10 minutes on foot from Eizan Electric Railway Shugakuin Get off at City Bus Shugakuin Road and walk about 10 minutes.
An old shrine that is popular as a guardian shrine in the Shugakuin / Yamabata area. Both sides of the long approach leading from the torii gate to the main shrine are lined with maple trees, and the autumn leaves that cover the sky welcome visitors. It is also wonderful at the time of the fall foliage in late autumn. There is a "Yaegaki" stone in the precincts that has the benefit of marriage, and it is one of the popular spots.
The approach is also known for the beauty of autumn leaves, everyone in the know knows
I was looking forward to worshiping because it was a little-known spot for autumn leaves that is not listed in the guidebook, but there were only a few autumn leaves, probably because the time of autumn leaves had not yet come.
The worship was on November 26th, so it seems that it was early. Looking at the photos uploaded on December 3, the autumn leaves are certainly wonderful. (Attached) (It seems that it will start to fall in late November every year)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 曼殊院を拝観して曼殊院天満宮を抜けた先には過去は相当に境内が広かったとイメージ出来る鷺森神社に辿り着きます。触れると悪縁を切り、良縁を授かると謂われる縁結びの石、八重垣も境内に在りました。
After visiting Manshuin and passing through Manshuin Tenmangu, you will reach Saginomori Shrine, where you can imagine that the precincts were quite wide in the past. Yaegaki, a matchmaking stone that cuts bad ties when touched and is said to give good ties, was also in the precincts.

新緑の季節に参拝したので参道を覆う楓がとても綺麗でした。
参拝時境内は5/5の例祭（神幸祭）の準備でごった返しでおり、正直来るタイミングを誤ったかもしれません。いわゆる京都の観光地としては人がかなり少な目、地元の方が立ち寄る神社なのかも。

Since I worshiped in the fresh green season, the maple that covers the approach was very beautiful.
At the time of worship, the precincts were crowded with preparations for the 5/5 annual festival (Idol procession), so honestly, the timing of coming may have been wrong. As a so-called sightseeing spot in Kyoto, there are quite a few people, and it may be a shrine where locals stop by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large park and shrine complex. Very few tourists, mainly locals. Great for a stroll or walking a pet. Very quiet, relax, meditate. Shrine has over a thousand year history. There is a centre stage building that very old shrines have, in the past used for meeting, ceremonies, performances. Quiet peaceful neighbourhood.
