★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2011年の震災前に存在した、道の駅高田松原の震災遺構。当初の設計時点で津波の襲来を想定しており、海側から斜めに屋根が形成されていて、津波を受け流せるようになっている。またこの斜めの屋根の部分は階段の展望台のようになっていて、避難施設を兼ねていた。
実際に311の震災当時には3名の命を救った。波が引かずに小雪が降る中、凍えそうになりながら一晩救助を待ったそうだ。
なお、これらは全て遺構のすぐ脇にある「いわてTSUNAMIメモリアル 〜東日本大震災津波伝承館〜」の受け売りである。

At the time of the initial design, a tsunami is expected to be attacked, and a roof is formed diagonally from the sea side so that the tsunami can be carried away. The diagonal roof was like an observation deck for stairs and also served as an evacuation facility.
In fact, three lives were saved in the 311 earthquake. He seemed to freeze and wait for rescue overnight while the snow was falling without the waves.
These are all sold at the "Iwate TSUNAMI Memorial-Tsunami Tradition Museum of the Great East Japan Earthquake-" located right beside the archeological site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周囲は安全に、きれいに整備されています。道の駅高田松原と東日本大震災津波伝承館が同じ敷地内にありトイレも安心です。
The surrounding area is safe and well maintained. Michi-no-Eki Takada Matsubara and the Great East Japan Earthquake Tsunami Tradition Hall are located on the same site, so you can rest assured that your toilet is safe.

旧道の駅の建物です。津波で破壊されました。現在保存工事中です。
最近まで敷地を道の駅として使用していた様です。今は復興祈念施設に道の駅が同居しています。
周囲では松原再生の為、植樹していました。

It seems that the site was used as a roadside station until recently. The roadside station now lives in the reconstruction prayer facility.
Trees were planted around the area to regenerate Matsubara.
