★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慶長二年（1597）野火のため焼亡しました。
向かって右に常行堂跡があり、5間15.4m方形、礎石の残る左側が法華堂跡で5間11.8m方形だそうです。
常行堂の礎石は現常行堂の礎石に使われたのか残っていない根石があり、存在が確認されました。
両堂はそれぞれ常行三昧、法華三昧を修行する堂宇であり、渡廊で結ばれいたそうです。
毛越寺は案内板が豊富なので、こうした解説でその遺構や建物の来歴を知ることが出来るのは嬉しいポイントだと思います。
 It was burnt down due to a wildfire in the second year of Keicho (1597).
The ruins of Jogyo-do are on the right, and the 5 ken 15.4 m square, and the left side where the cornerstone remains is the Houkado ruins, which is 5 ken 11.8 m square.
The foundation stone of Jogyodo was confirmed to exist because there are some root stones that may or may not have been used as the foundation stone of the current Jogyodo.
Both temples are Dou, who practice the regular practice and the Lotus Sutra, respectively, and are said to have been connected by a corridor.
Motsuji Temple has abundant information boards, so I think it's a nice point to be able to know the history of the remains and buildings from these explanations.
