A monument to the origin of Nihonbashi, located on the southwestern part of Nihonbashi in Tokyo. There is a picture of Hiroshige at the top, and the origin is described at the bottom. It records the fact that Nihonbashi became the starting point of various highways and records of repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本橋の橋詰の日本橋１丁目１－１の隣地に季節の花が咲く「花の広場」と刻まれた野球のベース盤ほどの石板が置かれています。この花壇に囲まれて日本橋観光案内所があり日本橋観光関連のフリーペーパーやパンフレットが備えられています。この隣に日本橋由来記があります。鋳造の銅板のようで緑青と思われる青いものが吹いています。いかにも歴史を感じさせます。記録の最後には「昭和十一年四月」とあります。
On the adjacent land of Nihonbashi 1-chome 1-1, Nihonbashi, is a basement board of baseball carved with a "flower square" where seasonal flowers bloom. Surrounded by these flower beds, there is the Nihonbashi Tourist Information Center, which contains free papers and pamphlets related to Nihonbashi sightseeing. Next to this is a note from Nihonbashi. The blue thing which seems to be patina is blowing like a cast copper plate. It makes you feel history. At the end of the record is "April 1946".
