み	みけねこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は武甕槌命・天津彦穂瓊々杵命，配祀として経津主命・倉稲魂命・菅原道真公。創建は和銅6（713）年以前とされていますが，「常陸國風土記」行方郡の条に「群より西北のかたに提賀の里あり。古，佐伯ありき。手鹿と名づく。其の人の居たれば，追ひて里に着く。其の里の北に香島の神子の社あり」と書かれ，提賀里の香島神子之社が当社であるとされることから，常陸風土記が成立した和銅6年以前の創建と推定されるという理屈からで，つまり当社は式外論社でありますね。歴代の玉造城主や水戸藩主の尊崇篤く，明治6年村社列格，同40年供進指定。各地に大宮神社がありますが，大きな宮という意味であって，当社は鹿島神社系でありますね。長い石灯籠の続く参道，鎮守の杜に囲まれた広大で清掃の行き届いた境内，数ある境内社，残念ながら拝殿は再建中とのことで，仮拝殿での参拝でありましたが，御本殿は修復完了（ところどころ旧社殿の部材も残されています）の様子ですね。旧・玉造町の総氏神にして，まさに押しも押されぬ堂々たる大社であります。 The deities are Takemikazuchi, Hikoho Tianjin, Ninigi-no-Mikoto, Futsunushi, Tamashii Kurana, and Sugawara no Michizane. There are Omiya shrines in various places, but it means a big shrine, and our company is a Kashima shrine. The approach to the shrine with long stone lanterns, the vast and well-cleaned precincts surrounded by the guardian forest, the numerous precincts, and unfortunately the worship hall is being rebuilt, so it was a worship at the temporary worship hall. It looks like the restoration has been completed (the parts of the old shrine have been left in some places). It is a magnificent shrine that is not pushed by the former Tamatsukuri town.
