不勉強でいまだに由来を存じてはおりませんが、参道に至る階段に設えられた狛犬の石像に愛嬌が感じられて、とても気に入っています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は倉稲魂命。創建年代は不詳だが、天正年間（1573-1592）以前の創建で、館主・谷島山城守の崇敬社。明治14年村社列格。東側の路地より「正念寺」へのやたら長そうな石段をセッセと登り出し、途中で右手の鳥居をくぐって、またも坂と階段を延々と登ります。ここの登りの参道は横幅は広いのですが長い間整備されていないようで足元にお気をつけください。ようやく境内へ。振り返ると遥かに旧・玉造市街が展望できます。思ったよりかなりの高台に上ったようです。最初は地図を見て、てっきり正念寺境内の小さな鎮守社であろうかと思っていたのですが、いえいえ、とんでもありません。神威漂う山上の名社であります。
The deity is Kurana Tamashii. The date of its foundation is unknown, but it was built before the Tensho era (1573-1592) and is a revered company of the owner, Yamashiro Tanishima. It is a village shrine ranking in 1887. From the alley on the east side, climb the seemingly long stone steps to "Shonenji", pass through the torii gate on your right, and climb the slopes and stairs again. The approach to the climb here is wide, but it seems that it has not been maintained for a long time, so please be careful of your feet. Finally to the precincts. Looking back, you can see the old Tamatsukuri city. It seems that I climbed to a much higher ground than I expected. At first, I looked at the map and thought that it was a small guardian shrine in the precincts of Seimenji Temple, but no, it's ridiculous. It is a famous shrine on the mountain with a divine power.
