場所は、エクシブ軽井沢本館にあります。写真は朝の和定食です。広いグランドエクシブ軽井沢の中で、鉄板焼スペースを除けば和食レストランはここしかないので、朝は特に待ちが長くなります。私は時間をずらしていく方ですが、混んでいる場合は一度受付をして呼んでもらうこともできます。部屋が近ければ一度部屋に戻ってもいいのですが、別棟やパセオ棟等の場合は、その間にお土産を買うことをお勧めします。また食事の待ち時間にジムでストレッチする人もいますよ！
味はもちろん美味しいです。どちらかというと見た目の派手さはそれほどありませんが、和食らしい繊細な味付けで魅了してくれます。

In the large Grand XIV Karuizawa, there is only one Japanese restaurant except for the teppanyaki space, so the waiting time is especially long in the morning. I am a person who shifts the time, but if it is crowded, you can have the receptionist call you once. If the room is close, you can return to the room once, but in the case of a separate building or paseo building, it is recommended to buy souvenirs in the meantime. Some people also stretch at the gym while waiting for a meal!
The taste is of course delicious. It's not so flashy in appearance, but it's fascinating with the delicate seasoning that is typical of Japanese food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ホテル内にあるお店です。接客対応も流石に素晴らしく、料理は3料理長競演のコ－スを頂きましたが、見た目も美しく、和、洋、中それぞれ大変美味しくいただきました。
佐久の花も、このお店限定の淡いブルーの瓶でセンスが感じられます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ エクシブ軽井沢自体、宿泊としては、数回しか利用していませんが、レストランとしては、特jに最近（ムセオ、パセオ新築に伴うリニューアル後）は、蓼科山荘からの帰路、よく利用しています。
インテリアの改装も、落ち着きがありながらモダンなエクシブの新しい花木鳥のコンセプトが導入されています。
勿論料理自体も洗練されており、現状、私が最も愛用している蓼科エクシブの花木鳥（最近メニューの変化が乏しいです）を、上回っていると感じます。
また、家内の色々な好みも、適宜対応していただき、大変すばらしいサーヴィスと有難く思っております。
なお、この軽井沢花木鳥、一時（2018年でしょうか）、「桐壺」が、カジュアル懐石「浅間」と同様、一品ずつ供されるのではなく4つの盆にまとめて提供されるようになったのは、はてなと感じました。
桐壺のメインが毎回アワビというのも、ちょっと如何なものかと感じていました。
しかし最近（2019年春以降）両コースとも、通常の懐石に戻っており、大美味しい牛肉も供される状況に戻り、とても満足です。
去年は、些か不満を書き記しましたが、今年は、また良い方向に向かっており、蓼科からの帰路、つい軽井沢花木鳥で夕食 という機会が増えています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本食の夜のコースメニューも美味しいですが、天ぷらコースメニューも大変美味しいです。職人さんが目の前で揚げた天ぷらをたべれます。
初めからデザートまでとても美味しいです。お塩もこだわりの3種類、天つゆ、大根おろし、レモン?とあり、お好みで楽しみます。最後にかき揚げ丼か、かき揚げとお蕎麦から選ぶのですがこちらのお蕎麦もとても美味しいです。
お蕎麦は単品のアラカルトで頼むのもおススメです。
朝の和食もとても美味しいです。充実なおかずの種類、ご飯をおかわりせずにはいられない。ただ子供には向かないかもです。
景色の良い席もあるのでそこで食べる食事は気分も良くなり味も向上します。
接客もとても感じの良いスタッフの皆さんばかりです。

夕食は個室での天ぷらコースでしたが、正直期待し過ぎたのか、そこまで美味しいと思えませんでした。
すいません…ただ旬の食材を揚げているだけに感じてかんどうがあまりなかったです。
蕎麦もコシが弱めで、かき揚げもイマイチでした。
目の前で揚げてくれるからで期待し過ぎは注意が必要です。意味不明なのが食べているのを確認で何度も黙って扉を開けたりがおきて落ち着かなかったのでマイナスポイント高めでした。
朝食も味薄めであまり好きな感じじゃなかったです。ご年配の方も多かったので若い方はちょっと注意がいるかもしれません。
