★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今日のランチは笹屋町通り千本西入るの老舗鰻屋さん“西陣 江戸川”さんへ♪
その名のとおり江戸前のやり方でやられています！
子供の頃は両親やおばあちゃんに連れられてよく来たもんですが、鰻が高くなった今は甲斐性も無いので全然これません(T_T)
当然並しかお願いできません(T_T)
並ですのでもちろん小ぶりですが江戸前なので柔らかくて旨味があってとても美味しいです♪
久しぶりの“江戸川”さん、ご馳走さまでした♪
Today's lunch is for the long-established eel shop “Nishijin Edogawa” who enters Senbonishi on Sasayamachi Street♪
As the name implies, it is done in the Edomae style!
I used to come to my parents and grandmas when I was a kid, but now that the eels are high, it's not worth it (T_T).
Of course, I can only ask you for average (T_T)
It's a normal size so of course it's small, but it's Edo-mae so it's soft and delicious, and it's very delicious ♪
It's been a while since I last visited Edogawa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明日の土用丑の日はお休みとの事で本日予約して行かせて頂きました。特上の鰻は売り切れでしたので並(お吸物等付いて1500円)を頂きましたが、価格から考えても大変美味しく、非常にお得だと思います。自分は鰻は土用丑位しか食さない位でしたが、この価格でこんなに美味しいなら時々伺ってみたいなと思える程です
。本日頂けなかった特上もいつか頼もうかと思います。本当に柔らかくて美味しい鰻ですよ、超絶お奨めです(*^^*)！

I made a reservation today because it will be closed tomorrow's Day of the Ox. The special eel was sold out, so I got a normal price (1500 yen with soup etc.), but considering the price, it is very delicious and I think it is very profitable. I used to eat only the day of the Ox, but if it's so delicious at this price, I'd like to ask you from time to time.
.. I think I can rely on the special items that I didn't get today. It's a really soft and delicious eel, I highly recommend it (* ^^ *)!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 場所がわかりづらいが、古い京町家で、雰囲気最高！外を、歩いて来たら、鰻の蒲焼の、匂いがして最高に、テンションアゲアゲ‼️
とても美味しく頂きました！
The location is hard to find, but it's an old Kyomachiya and the atmosphere is great! When you walk outside, you can smell the eel kabayaki and it smells great. ️
It was very delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though there was no English menu, the staff was friendly enough to explain what each item in the menu was(in Japanese though). Basically the first 3 items in the menu are the unagi dons in small, medium and large. The unagi is fresh and you can taste the simple flavours of it while in a cozy environment.
