The mix of ingredients and flavor make it ridiculously tasty. The dumplings are fantastic as well. Highly recommend checking out this place.

I think the closest description I would say is soup curry found in Hokkaido + ramen. For those who don't speak much Japanese (like me), when you order I think they ask you what kind of noodles you would like, thick or thin. Then they ask if you want rice if you get the special combo (1000yen). I asked for a regular size. The soup comes bubbling hot but the noodles quickly cools it down + a wonton (it was quite good). I actually ran out of the soup with about 20% noodles and rice left and noticed another customer asking for more "soup" (they add hot water). This soup is suppose to be like "sobaya" in which you finish up the broth. But, I opted to use it to finish all I had left. Which is why I gave it 4.5. I think they need to serve a little more soup. The chashu was great. The finishing touch with with grill marks shines through (albeit they only do it to one side... another reason why I dinged the points). Flavors are great no doubt?- not spicy at all imo. Watch out for splash!
