★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right next to Nijo Castle, our kid loved the slide and little animals on springs after a spot of sightseeing. There were lots of wildflowers and long grasses and it felt like a little oasis in the city. The playground equipment was adequate but nothing exceptional. The main problem was the mosquitos. After quite a heavy rain the previous day, we found ourselves eaten alive by mosquitos within a short period of time. Recommend bringing bug spray.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of places for children to play so great for kids. There's two open areas good for practicing different sports as well. Close to Nijo-castle so can be a nice rest area afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little park in a quiet neighborhood behind Nijo Castle. My son loves adventuring amongst the trees and paths that run the circumference of the park. The path even has meter markers if you are trying to walk or jog a certain amount before breakfast!

Lots of free space
Many swings and place for engaging the young kids and toddlers. The a small water canal also to keep your kids busy and enjoy their day.
Just opposite of the Nijo Castle. There is a washroom too.
