という石標は京都のものですが, これもこの地点ではなく, 80mほど北に行った所にあるものです)
 Most of the photos uploaded here are Suzakumon of "Heijokyo" (Nara). (Restored in recent years) This is "Heiankyo" (Kyoto) ❗ No mistakes.

This is where the Suzakumon Gate, the entrance to the Heian Palace, was located. A stone monument stands up the Oshikoji along Senbon-dori.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ビルの隙間に目立たず小さな石碑が立っています。朱雀門という立派な門にしてはとても残念。しかし思いを巡らすことだけは出来ます。
A small stele stands inconspicuously in the gap between the buildings. It is very disappointing for a fine gate called Suzakumon. But you can only think about it.
