A park near Ukimido where many plum trees are planted. I think it is a place where you can feel spring early in Nara Park.

It was still blooming for about 3 minutes, but the people were laid back and the spring was back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 梅が見頃でしたね。鹿と梅が両方見れる所はここ位しか無いのでは、無いでしょうか。鹿は人懐っこいですが、下手に手を出さない様に気を付けないといけません。公園にも注意書き書いてます。浮御堂からも梅林見えて良い景色です。
The plum blossoms were in full bloom. I think this is the only place where you can see both deer and plum blossoms. Deer are friendly, but you have to be careful not to touch them badly. I also wrote a note in the park. It is a good view to see the plum grove from Ukimido.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3月11日ここの公園で５分から７分といった感じなので月ヶ瀬はまだのよう。鹿と梅が一緒に見れ六角堂まで降りていけ春日大社に東大寺、夜は浮見堂のお水取りも徒歩圏内なので今週の咲き具合なら観光で片道1480円バスに乗り有名地に行かなくともここで十分かも。
March 11 It's like 5 to 7 minutes in the park here, so it seems that Tsukigase isn't there yet. You can see deer and plums together and get off at Rokkakudo. Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Todaiji Temple, and Ukimido at night are within walking distance. May be enough.
