Yuga Shrine - Nara

This is a shrine a little away from Nara Park. It is located in Takabatake Town, which was loved by literary masters such as Naoya Shiga and photographer Taikichi Irie of Nara. It's a very difficult place to understand because it's in a narrow alley, but it's a little-known spot where the autumn leaves are very beautiful. This is a very luxurious and valuable place because you can see not only the autumn leaves but also the ginkgo trees at the same time. When you go up the stairs, the view is good and you feel like listening! In addition, there is Shin-Yakushiji Temple, which is famous for the twelve gods, and Byakugoji Temple, where you can see the city of Nara. Takabatake-cho is full of attractions such as delicious soba restaurants and cake shops. The shrine here is a place you don't want to teach!

The entire mountain, including the shrine, is an important cultural property. It was originally a shrine to the demon gate of Motokoji Zenjoin, and later Kofukuji Daijyoin was built at the foot of the mountain. It is said that Fujiwara and others were respected as guardian deities. Thank you, I received the seal of "Yuga Shrine".

A shrine surrounded by trees on a hill. I visited at the end of July, but the grounds were beautiful and covered with green. As this shrine was moved to build the Asuka gods along with Heijo-Kyoto capital, it used to be called "Asuka in Nara". The nobles who moved from Asuka looked at Asuka far from this place, and it was said to be in the spirit of Nobokyo. Unfortunately, we can not look far because there are houses in the vicinity now. The seal of thumb is awarded at the neighboring residence of Miyaji. When Miyaji-san is present, you can write directly to the Oshoban. In the case of absence, the house seems to give you a note.

Although it is a small shrine, the precincts have a rusty atmosphere. It becomes a hidden autumnal spot in autumn.

If you slowly go up the road in front of the torii to the east (toward Kasugayama), you will see the old town of Nara, and you can sometimes hear the sound of the shamisen. If you walk about 100m, you will find a small Naramachi Tenjinsha Shrine and Inari-san, which is Nara where only locals can go. If you walk as it is, you will reach the hotel "Fufu", Sagiike pond with Ukimido, and Yoga Garden. You cannot drive to the shrine. Park your car in a nearby parking lot. The precincts are characterized by long stone steps, and before climbing the stone steps, there are a shrine office, a chozuya, etc., and the stone steps leading to the front shrine extend long. After climbing up the stone steps, there is a hall of worship marked "Aoi Hongu" and the main hall in the back, and the end shrines Sarutahiko Shrine, Kuehiko Shrine, and Ichigo Inari Shrine are located in the vicinity, and Otomo Sakagamirojo. Manyo poems are also set up. When you sit down on the stairs of this shrine and look in the direction of Asuka, you can see the Manyo people who think of Asuka in their hometown.
