★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in Nara. We arrived to Nara for just a day and found this magnificent place. There was a boat rental with reasonable price. Cherry blossom at its pick. This was our favorite spot in Nara.
Much less crowded than the regular areas in Nara. Highly recommended!

FYI: much better if you bring snack... No resto on sight... reminder: bring your trash with you?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the most relaxed feeling place in Nara park. This is a little out of the way to where the main vendors and deer etc are, so it feels a lot more peaceful and relaxed. As a result this area is a great spot to just come and spend a little bit of time.
