Admission fee 200 yen for adults, 100 yen for children You can enter the Cultural Center for free. You can go around the beautifully maintained garden. It's a very calming place. Those staying at the Nara Hotel can get an admission ticket at the front desk.

It is a garden adjacent to Nara Hotel, but the management seems to be different.

I wanted to take a walk in the garden on the way back and forth from Takahata. He was exercising authority as a major religious force. The area around the current Nara Hotel was also a site. Perhaps the garden and pond were influenced by the culture of the Kuge family, and the boat was floating and the wind was crazy.

The intro of the historic Japanese garden, which stands on the eastern edge of Naramachi with Hissori, Daijoin is the monzeki temple of Kofukuji Temple, which was built in 1087. The garden is a precious garden that is one of the few existing medieval gardens in Japan that was created by Jinson, the lord of the hospital during the Muromachi period, using the ancient Higashioike pond. The entrance fee is 200 yen, which is quite reasonable. First of all, it is a calming spot.

At the beginning of December, some autumn leaves still remained and it was beautiful. The entrance fee is 200 yen, which is quite reasonable. However, guests of the Nara Hotel can get an admission ticket at the front desk. I went down the stairs to the parking lot and entered from the back of the garden. It's free, so I entered it with the feeling that it was a big deal, but the inside was wider than I expected and it was spectacular. The group that came in about two groups after us seemed to be staying at the hotel, and I felt that this would be a little-known spot if the autumn leaves were in full bloom.

It is just opposite to the Kufukuji Temple. You can enjoy the view of the calm water from the Starbucks Cafe next to it.

Small garden with small entrance fee. Worth going if you want a time out from the crowds. We we're the only ones in it. Note:. If you're on a schedule, there are an overwhelming amount of other attractions in Nara that would be better than this place so maybe prioritize this lower.
