The deity is Takemikazuchi. Founded in Daido 2 (807). On the south bank across Kasumigaura from Takahama, there is a large circle burial mound (total length about 50 m, height about 8 m) on the tip hill of Ishikawa, and it is called "Yamazaki no Mori" tumulus (Yamazaki tumulus or Ishikawa tumulus group No. 1 tumulus). You are enshrined at the burial mound. In the Middle Ages, the Aoya Festival was held at our company. In Genroku 9 (1696), there was a worship during a patrol of the Mito feudal lord, Mitsukuni. It was ordered that this scenic land was a good place to enshrine the guardians of both Ishikawa and Iseki villages, and the guardian gods of both villages merged and were called "Ryosha Daimeijin". In the first year of the Taisho era, it was designated as a village company and co-promoted in the same year. From the narrow road in the southeast, cross the Shinkyo Bridge (Is it a small bridge in the irrigation canal? The road is too narrow and there is only space for motorcycles here) and go through the Ichino Torii of Kusabobo. When you climb the stone steps, you will see an old type guardian dog and Nino Torii. It's a tasty wooden ryōbu torii, but this atmosphere is ... definitely. I am thrilled that there is no doubt that it is an old shrine and a large shrine. In the shadow of the green trees, when you climb the stone steps, you will see a fallen tree. And no! The ruins of the foundation where there was a hall of worship, and the main hall behind it is only the lower half. Only Mizugaki of the main shrine managed to remain. Apparently, the original heavy hall of worship was tilted by the Great East Japan Earthquake and has recently been demolished. If you turn right from Nino Torii, you will find the "Yamazaki Mori Kashima Shrine" office. To observe the maintenance situation in the vicinity, it seems that it is probably preparation for reconstruction. It was really disappointing that the quaint old shrine in the previous photo was gone, and I look forward to the reconstruction of the new shrine.
