★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は経津主命。創建は建長2（1250）年，下総国一の宮の香取神社より分祀したのがはじまりだそうです。
当社を探して池の北側の荒道を進んだのですが途中Ｕターン。間違えました。池の東の径を南下してすぐ西方の坂を上った先に，大きな社号標と階段が。登った先の境内は丁寧に清掃整備されており，鳥居と重々しくも見事な拝殿と，裏側には美しい造営の御本殿が鎮座していらっしゃいました。境内の由来碑によれば，平成20年に御本殿の大改築をされたようです。ここ串挽の地名は，前に北浦，後ろに山野をもち，その水陸の境は，真砂に櫛を寝かせて引いた如く大小入江が列をなしていたためであるとか。往古，北浦がさらに広がっていた頃，鳥居の坂の下の田畑は北浦の湖底で，当社は櫛の歯の一本の突端部分にあって広々とした北浦を見下ろしていたのでしょうか。
The deity of the festival is Keitsu. It is said that it was started in 1250, when it was first separated from the Katori Shrine at the No. 1 shrine in Shimosa Kuni.
I searched for our company and proceeded along the rough road on the north side of the pond, but made a U-turn on the way. I made a mistake. A large company name and stairs are located just south of the eastern diameter of the pond and up the west slope. The grounds we climbed up were carefully cleaned and maintained, and there was a torii gate, a magnificent worship hall, and a beautifully built main shrine on the back side. According to the origin monument of the precincts, it seems that the main shrine was renovated in 2008. The place name of Kushigiri was Kitaura in the front and Yamano in the back, and the border of the land and water was because the small and large coves lined up as if a comb was laid on Masago. In the past, when Kitaura was expanding further, the fields below Torii's hill were at the bottom of the lake in Kitaura, and we were looking down on the spacious Kitaura at the tip of one comb tooth.
