★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は菅原道真公。寛永10（1633）年に芹沢新田（上山部落）が開発されたに伴い，翌11年に三反四畝（1388㎡）の社地の当社が創建され，以来，上山部落の守護神として尊崇されてきたそうです。県道50号水戸神栖線沿いに新しそうな神社が目立ちますが，こちらは芹沢三峰社で，当社はその奥側となります。元は三反四畝もあった社地もずいぶん狭められてしまい，県道から民間の建物と芹沢三峰社の間の隙間から横入りしてなんとか鳥居前にアクセス出来るような入口でありますすが，拝殿は重厚・・・こんな風に向拝が長い拝殿はなかなか珍しく貴重です。拝殿裏の御本殿は，総石造で，近年改築されたものと思われます。この脇（県道との間）が車数台分の駐車スペースとなります。

The shrine ground that originally had Santan Shiou was narrowed down a lot, and it is an entrance that you can access to Torii in front of the prefectural road through the gap between the private building and Serizawa Sanhosha. It is heavy... The worship hall where worship is long is rare and precious. The main shrine behind the worship hall is made entirely of stone and is believed to have been recently rebuilt. This side (between the prefectural road) is a parking space for several cars.
