U	Uchida Yoichi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 徒歩だと鎌倉駅から30分ほどの場所、大塔宮行のバスを利用するのが便利ですが、駐車場もあるのでマイカーでの訪問も可能です。そろそろ秋の紅葉シーズン。写真は昨年2020年に撮影した写真ですが、紅葉の時期には木々が色とりどりに色付き見ごたえがあります。特に赤く染まったモミジが印象的でした。 2022年の大河ドラマ「鎌倉殿の13人」の撮影場所として覚園寺が使われるそうで、大河ファンにもおすすめのスポットです。周辺にはいくつかのハイキングコースも整備されているので、時間に余裕があるようであれば足を運んでみてはいかがでしょう。 It is convenient to take the bus bound for Otomiya, which is about 30 minutes from Kamakura Station on foot, but there is also a parking lot so you can visit by car. The buddha statues in the main hall were interesting and the flanking statues were also unique to other temples we've been to. Try and get on the regular tours with the monks and bring the english guide with you. The check in office is so small that you get to watch them do your temple stamp as you wait, very neat!!
