ね	ねこパパ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉宮から瑞泉寺に向かう途中にあり、綺麗な公園に整備されていています。本堂の両サイドにも建物があり、前には池を備えた大きなお寺さんだったようです。平等院を思い浮かべるようなお寺だったようです。訪れた時は、暖かい日だたったのでベンチでお茶を飲みゆっくりしました。ここは無料です。隣にはテニスコートがありました。鎌倉宮までは鎌倉駅からバスがあります。鎌倉宮から歩いて10分ぐらいです。道が狭いので車には注意して下さい。 It is located on the way from Kamakuragu to Zuisenji Temple and is maintained in a beautiful park. ゆ	ゆうのすけ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 瑞泉寺へ向かう途中、テニスコートの隣に広い公園があるなと思っていましたが、こちらが永福寺(ようふくじ)跡でした。鎌倉宮から瑞泉寺方向へ歩いていくと脇道の入口に永福寺の案内板があります。脇道を進むとテニスクラブがあり、さらに薄暗い林の中を進むと、急に視界が開け、広々とした永福寺跡にたどり着きます。鎌倉にも、こんなに開けた場所があったのですね。小春日和の暖かな陽射しの中、お弁当を広げたくなるような公園です。かつて、頼朝や北条政子もここを歩いたのでしょうか。いまは柱の基礎しかない跡地を見ていると、すこし物悲しい気持ちになりました。永福寺は奥州合戦の戦没者慰霊のため、源頼朝が建立した寺院で、平泉中尊寺の二階大堂大長寿院の素晴らしさに心打たれ、これを模して建てられたそうです。二階の堂があったため「二階堂」とよばれ、付近の地名になったそうです。惜しくも焼失し、今は二階堂、阿弥陀堂、薬師堂などの基壇（基礎）が復元されています。トラは死して皮を残し、寺院は失して地名を残す　ですね。 On the way to Zuisenji, I thought there was a large park next to the tennis court, but this was the site of Yofukuji. Unfortunately, it was burnt down, and now the foundations of Nikaido, Amida-do, Yakushi-do, etc. have been restored.
